Back in April 2016,  China  Chamber of Commerce in Ethiopia(CCCE) and Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to support AASTU in its endeavor to produce competent graduates to the existing and upcoming industries.

As it is clearly stipulated in the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two Organizations, China Chamber of Commerce in Ethiopian (CCCE) has expressed its commitment to launch an Education Foundation aiming at supporting the higher level education in Ethiopia-with its own resource- in the form of financial scholarship incentives.

It didn’t take too long to realize what was written on paper into reality. Just last year, a total of 129 undergraduate science and engineering students of Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU) were benefited from CCCE scholarship scheme.

On this year December 12, 2017 another 134 undergraduate students from year 1 to 3 become winners of the CCCE funded scholarship. The awardees have demonstrated strong academic performance and good ethics during their stay in the university.
