As a specialized Science and Technology University, Addis Ababa Science and Technology University was founded in 2011. To provide a unique approach to learning and an international perspective. Therefore, College of Engineering is the largest college in the university. It comprises nine departments such as, Architectural, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering and software Engineering.

Therefore, the engineering college is working to obtain worldwide accreditation for each of its undergraduate engineering programs from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). All programs aim to teach factual, conceptual, procedural, and metacognitive knowledge. They are all updated constantly because of this. In order to improve students’ application, analysis, synthesis, assessment, and innovative skills, our courses include well thought outcome based learning objectives and expected outcomes.
