Research is a core component in the mission of Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU) to advance knowledge, innovation, and societal impact. AASTU has a diverse and dynamic research communities that are engaged in cutting-edge research across various disciplines and fields. Consistent with this, the University has established Research Grant Management Office (RGMO) to administer and manage grants and awards for its research activities.

The RGMO at AASTU is a centralized and dedicated Office that provides comprehensive and professional grant services, such as grant opportunity search, proposal development and submission, grant administration and management, grant performance tracking and reporting, grant compliance and audit, grant training, foster collaboration and communication among different stakeholders involved in grant management, and increase the success rate and impact of grant applications and awards.
