Addis Ababa Science and Technology University has signed a partnership agreement with JEONJU University. During the commencement of the ceremony, Prof. Joo Song head of JEONJU University briefly introduced the typical identities and capacities of JEONJU University and the partnership areas where they should prefer to jointly cooperate.
On the other hand, Dr. Dereje Engida, the president of Addis Ababa Science and Technology University highlighted the background, vision, and focus areas of the university. He also expressed his appreciation to the team of JEONJU University for being here to sign an agreement with AASTU.
According to the memorandum of understanding, the two sides agreed to promote exchanges of scholars and scientific research activities such as the exchange of resources, staff, and, students; support for research; development and implementation of joint teaching and research programs; cooperation in sharing of education and research materials, laboratory equipment and other scientific information.
They also agreed to co-organize scientific seminars and specialized courses to promote science as well as support each other in international cooperation activities.
Dr. Dereje Engida, AASTU president, and Jin Bae Park(Ph.D.) president of Jeonju university made the signing ceremony and high university officials from both universities were in attendance during the signing ceremony.
