About CEP
The Addis Ababa Science and Technology University’s continuing education program (AASTU-CEP) is an organized educational and micro credential training program intended for individuals who want to expand their expertise and skills after completing their initial formal education. Typically, these programs are offered under the motto “University for Industry” to the surrounding industry community and surrounding resident community. For those who technology graduates but wish to pursue on their new interests or expand their areas of competence, AASTU’s existing department’s professionals are ready to provide demand-based undergraduate, postgraduate studies, and micro credential trainings. In light of this, AASTU-CEP is intended to provide education through online and radio program-based streams, evening programs, summer in-service and distance learning programs, focused workshops and seminars, and more.
Continuing education programs are essential for clients (UG, PG, and Micro credential training) for a variety of reasons, such as advancement in a career, professional development, personal enrichment, and maintaining requirements for license or certification in particular professions. In addition to these benefits CEP offers custom study and instruction that can be very helpful to many of its clients who need to stay updated with advancements in quickly evolving industries or businesses.
