Message from the President

Welcome to Addis Ababa Science and Technology University, one of the two science and technology institutions dedicated to advancing education, research, and innovation in science and technology. It is my honor to connect with you and share our commitment to fostering a collaborative environment that drives progress and excellence.

At AASTU, we strive to deliver world-class education that aligns with our nation’s developmental goals. Our diverse range of programs—comprising 13 undergraduate, 43 master’s, and 41 doctoral offerings—empowers our students to become specialists and leaders in their fields. Our faculty, comprised of experienced professionals, is committed to providing high-quality education and mentorship. With access to state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced laboratories equipped with the latest technology and smart classrooms, students are well-prepared with the tools necessary to succeed and make a meaningful impact in their fields.

We are proud to have established partnerships with over 175 international and 127 national entities, enriching our academic community and expanding our global impact. These collaborations not only enhance our research initiatives but also ensure that we remain at the forefront of scientific and technological advancements.
